A 285/70R17 is a different diameter than a 285/75R17. And if you!re going to an 18” or 20” rim, it’s an even bigger diameter. You can run 285/65s with just a set of wheels. There are some threads that talk about 285s fitting no problem, or 285’s fitting with fender mods, but later comments admit that with heavy breaking at lock (wheel turned all the way) or off road adventures that rubbing is an issue.
