Reset ipad network settings still same. Turn off/on airplane and bluetooth still same. Turn off/on handoff on both devices still same. Tried sidecar with cable works though. So can't be device issue. Same here. Definitely an issue. I'm also experiencing this problem, and have been hoping that each time a new public beta comes out for macOS or iPadOS that it will resolve the problem.
