You can make a case for Elk or Triceratops if you want to Charge with them, as they both gain a huge damage to Charge starting from level 7.

While there is quite enough discussion on builds for a character itself, I really want to find opinions on general party composition. My only experience, so far, with Pathfinder is Kingmaker. From my own rather limited experience, for a 6 man party, there are 4 must-have positions to fill, and the remaining two are flex.
